Russia announced a space mission to the Moon after 47 years

Moscow: Russia has announced that it will send a lander to the moon this week. According to media reports, this is the first time in 47 years that Russia has sent a mission to the moon, before Russia in 1976. It sent a vehicle called Luna 25′.
Moscow wants to revive the Soviet Union-era space program. The Russian space agency said a rocket has been prepared to be sent to the country’s far eastern region on August 11. This rocket is called ‘Luna 25’ and it will land on the moon. and take soil samples and analyze them.
The space agency said in a statement that long-term scientific research will also be carried out on these soil samples. The four-legged vehicle weighs 800 kg and will land on the southern part of the moon.
