Bail requests prior to the arrest of the PTI president are dismissed
The Accountability Court has thrown out the pre-arrest bail applications of the PTI chairman in the £190m corruption case and Tosha Khana.
Islamabad Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer heard the pre-arrest bail request of the PTI Chairman and Bushra Bibi in the £190 million case, in which the PTI Chairman’s wife appeared in court while the former prime minister did not appear.
During the hearing, Judge Muhammad Bashir asked that the arrest warrant for Bushra Bibi had not been issued. Where is the investigating officer? Wait, is this case an inquiry or is it in the investigation stage?
On this occasion, the NAB prosecutor, Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi, said that there are no arrest warrants yet.
Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Khawaja Haris, said the case has now turned into an investigation, while lawyer Intizar Panjotha said any assurance regarding the future should be given.
Judge Muhammad Bashir said that if the NAB arrests them, it will be good from here. Bushra Bibi must not be caught by the NAB, lest she be caught at night.
The court ordered Bushra Bibi not to be arrested in the £190 million scandal case, while Bushra Bibi attended the hearing and left the court.
Later, the Islamabad Accountability Court issued a sure decision regarding the pre-arrest bail of the PTI Chairman and rejected the PTI Chairman’s petitions in the Tosha Khana and Al-Qadir Trust scandal cases for non-compliance.
After the court dismissed the petitions, the PTI president will now have to deal with the £190m and also the Toshakhana investigation.
On the other hand, the court rejected the provisional bail request of the PTI president, wife Bushra Bibi, in the case of 190 million pounds.
